Our Leadership
While most advisory firms are primarily financial in nature, Medical Growth Partners was founded by Vladimir Walko, an executive with a global marketing and technology background. This unique combination shaped his vision of how superior value could be delivered to companies seeking external growth for strategic purposes. Before founding MGP, our President was a senior executive in both the U.S. and Europe with a major NYSE company serving the Pharmaceutical, Biotech and Medical Device industries. His career there included positions as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, Vice President of Marketing and R&D, European Vice President of Marketing and Sales, and Managing Director-UK. His prior business experience included roles as a marketing executive in the Dental, Biomedical Electronics and Medical Plastics industries. Mr. Walko holds a Masters Degree in Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA in Marketing. As an expert in his field, he is a frequent lecturer and columnist and has been seated on the Board of a number of both profit and non-profit organizations.

Our Client Base
The clients we serve cover a broad spectrum in terms of size, location, and their business focus. Most are providing a product or service, such as packaging components, drug delivery systems or contract manufacturing, to the major Drug or Device companies. About half of our clients are foreign corporations wishing direction on how to best enter the U.S. market. Additionally, Investment Banks, Merchant Banks, Venture Capital Groups, and Private Equity Funds look to us for deal flow, research  and advice.
